How feeding works

Fruiting crops (tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, strawberries) need two phases: a balanced feed while they build the plant, then a switch to high-potassium when flowers appear. Leafy crops need steady nitrogen. Root crops and legumes need almost nothing — over-feeding causes problems. Find your crop type below.
